Wonder if this is related to the rumored changes to the credit card
which could theoretically look like this:
A: 75k + Gold
B: MVP + CC
C: Premium
D: Main
E: Main
F: Saver

I figured F was for Failure - you didn't clear standby In any event, I would be pleased if a series of stanchions with these categories appeared at the boarding area, like others have done in the past.

Last week in BOS the gate agent reminded everyone before calling for each group that one side is for AS status holders and the other is for general boarding which I thought was helpful, so fingers crossed that is something thats also being added into the boarding process going forward across the network.
I've never seen more than one lane being used at BOS - always everyone goes through the status line or everyone goes through the general line in my experience.

Disagree. Its the right amount. Instead of diluting something of value for MVPs (Group B), PC/CC (post-revamp)/promo/gate check can have their own non-elite boarding group (C). This is assuming thats how they use the additional group.

I’m guessing “F” stands for “There’s no F’ing way you’re bringing your bag on board”.

We just found it on BPs for flights tomorrow and wondered what it might signify (Privileged? Prized?), but found this thread. Now if only our UGs clear...

Especially on a non-space bin plane (73G, 738 or original non-ER 739). For all AS is doing in terms of product alignment with AA these days, its a shame installing bigger bins on 738s isnt among them.

Seems like an odd choice in name for a boarding group that includes only F/100K since OW also uses the word Priority to describe all status levels. On my App BP right below the boarding group it has the OW Priority Emerald logo. Wonder if it will cause confusion or aggravation when people show their BP saying Priority even if the are part of Group A/B.

This would make too much sense! I'd imagine boarding be faster when aisle pax don't have to get up and let window pax in

Except the D, E & F bins would be full before they started boarding.
