The effects of Feixiao’s Technique in Honkai: Star Rail have appeared in Version 2.5 leaks, indicating that it may be one of the best, if not the strangest ones so far. Feixiao is a new 5-star character planned to arrive in Version 2.5, an update that should arrive in early September if the game follows its regular six-week schedule between updates. Feixiao is a Wind character who follows the Path of the Hunt, making her a damage dealer. According to the Feixiao leaks in Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 so far, she will be a follow-up attack specialist.
Now, the details of her gameplay kit have leaked. According to information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat, which was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit, Feixiao’s Technique will grant her a SPD Boost and will drag enemies nearby when she runs across the map. The leak mentions that the more enemies that are dragged into her technique, the higher the DMG she deals upon entering battle. Feixiao’s Technique in Honkai: Star Rail can be seen in leaked gameplay footage by the leaker known as Flying Flame, also posted on Reddit.

Feixiao’s Technique In Honkai: Star Rail 2.5 May Gather Opponents In The Overworld
It Is Uncertain If There Is A Limitation To The Number Of Enemies That Can Be Pulled In
Based on the leaks, Feixiao’s Technique essentially summons a whirlwind around her, pulling in enemies that are in the overworld. The effect, which lasts 20 seconds according to a leak by Sakura Haven posted on Reddit, keeps enemies helplessly spinning around her as she moves across the map, still under the player's control. Once players end the allegedly called Onrush state by entering combat, Wind DMG equal to 200% of Feixiao’s ATK stat will be dealt to all enemies at the start of each wave of combat in Honkai: Star Rail.
The Technique’s leaked description mentions that the DMG is guaranteed to CRIT and that when more than one enemy is pulled into her whirlwind, the multiplier of DMG is increased by 100% for each enemy, up to 1.000%. This could mean that, if Feixiao’s Technique pulls in enough enemies, the Wind DMG she deals could be enough to instantly eliminate enemies in each wave, without having to actively participate in combat – especially if Feixiao is well-built in Honkai: Star Rail.
It is uncertain if there is a limitation to how many enemies Feixiao can pull in, even if the DMG multiplier does have a limitation of its own. Additionally, it is also unknown if this rumored Technique will work on all types of enemies – so far, only standard-sized opponents have been seen spinning in Feixiao’s leaked Technique. Nevertheless, the Technique seems extremely powerful and capable of quickly dispatching lesser enemies without the trouble of going through combat and, subsequently, sustaining damage in Honkai: Star Rail.
Feixiao’s Technique may also be useful in the Warp Trotter mini-game in the Simulated Universe’s Swarm Disaster, for example.
For now, the leaks should be considered with caution, as they may be subject to slight changes ahead of the character’s release. However, what has been leaked so far seems extremely promising, both in terms of practicality and combat usefulness. It is uncertain how Feixiao will fare once she is released, but she may be an even better choice than Yunli in Honkai: Star Rail when considering her follow-up attacks alongside the new and unusual Technique.
