Training and Development

Training and development are a crucial part in building a successful business in any industry. Within Papa Johns, we are passionate about training to ensure you and your team are the best they can be for long-term prosperity.

Our op’s excellence team are responsible for creating the tools and materials for the training and development of franchisee’s, store managers and team members. Our training includes new team member orientation, in-store and delivery training, core management skills training and new product or program implementation.

For new franchisees joining the Papa Johns family, you will be required to complete an intensive six-week management training programme. The management programme requires all new franchisees to learn both the hands-on skills needed, and the theory behind our Papa Johns processes. The programme schedule is split between spending time in a Papa Johns store, online or at our Quality Control Centre (QCC) located in Milton Keynes.

Graduation

Upon graduation you will be ready to continue your Papa Johns journey and open a store. Don’t worry, we won’t just leave you after your initial training.

  • The op’s excellence team provide on-site training and operating support before, during and after the opening of your first and second store to ensure the very best start.
  • As you become a more seasoned operator this will be reduced, with additional support available upon request.
  • The great news is that you will be allocated a Franchise Business Manager (FBM) who is an experienced operator and will be at hand to offer business and operational support on an ongoing basis as your business grows.
