B&M to open 45 new stores across the UK in 2025 - check your area (2025)

A popular bargain retailer is planning to launch 45 new branches across Britain in 2025, with some openings just weeks away. B&M, which already has over 650 stores, is looking to further expand in the UK despite reporting a drop in sales, as per This Is Money.

In its update to the stock market, the firm reported like-for-likes in the UK dropped 3.1% to £4.5billion in the year to 29 March, They were also down 2.4% in the final 12 weeks, The Mirror reports.

However, the chain said the wider group saw a 3.7% increase in sales to £5.6billion during the year, citing its new store openings and a positive performance from its French stores.

These successes were said to have helped offset B&M's weaker performance in Britain.

The company also says progress is being made in the search for B&M CEO Alex Russo's replacement, as he is retiring from the firm at the end of April.

The firm expects to provide an update "in due course".

The British multinational variety store and garden centre chain opened 45 stores last year and is planning to open the same number this year.

It's yet to say where all of them will be, but has revealed the locations of 16 of them so far, including:
